A new Dabawenya is well educated and passionate about her well being as well as of the welfare of others. She knows how to lead a community or even a small group and listens to her people. She is composed, assertive and flexible.

What are the issues and concerns confronted of a new Dabawenya?

A new Dabawenya is modern and open minded.  Thus, the major concern against her is that of morality - being liberated than that of the conservative and shy Dabawenya. She faces the challenge of proving herself inspite of the many issues being brought against her.

What programs and advocates can you suggest as a response to these issues? Issues related to question number 2.

Of course, proper parenting and education still make up the growth of a young person. The values must still be instilled and the Dabawenya must still have to go through the process of learning. Yet still, facing such adversities lies within the person itself-how she deals with such issues reflects a part of her upbringing and her own personal growth and development.
